Pam's IdeaShape clients include Accenture, Autodesk, Blue Shield of CA, eBay, Sun Microsystems, Charles Schwab, and Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Before founding IdeaShape in 1999, Pam guided executives of healthcare and financial service companies through major strategic change as Senior Manager with Accenture Strategic Services and Bain & Company; clients included C-level executives at United Health Group, and Kaiser Permanente.

Pam has also coached and facilitated with a variety of local and international NGOs and government agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency, Sacred Heart Community Services, and Santa Clara County Office of Emergency Services. She has served on the boards of and led initiatives for organizations in food banking, environmental protection, and women's health; she also served as turnaround Executive Director for Blossom Birth in Palo Alto.

Pam is recognized internationally as an expert in using assessments including the MBTI® and various 360 feedback instruments. In 2005, she was the keynote speaker for the bi-annual conference of the Association for Psychological Type, the professional organization for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®. She is frequently invited to speak on her research into how leaders of different types define and develop emotional intelligence and leadership.

Pam earned an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, where she has consulted for six years as a Guest Fellow and Master Coach. Pam is Senior Facilitator for the course alumni rate most valuable: Interpersonal Dynamics and has facilitated for the innovative course in Leading Diverse Organizations. Pam holds a Bachelor's with Highest Honors in Organization Studies from University of California, Davis.
